Dontnod Entertainment has developed acclaimed games such as Remember Me and Life is Strange. Following those titles the developer will be releasing the action RPG Vampyr. The video game is set in 1918 London, England and the games protagonist is Dr. Johnathan Reid. Reid has awaken after he arrives home following his service in the Great War. He realizes he has contracted a terrible ailment; vampirism. Dr. Reid struggles to live with his ailment while he continues his life as a doctor.
In Vampyr players will decide who to sacrifice and who to save. The choices that players make will have consequences. Every citizen can either be killed or saved, and each killing will affect the games story line. Players can create their own style of combat using a wide variety of weaponry. They can use their vampiric skills to confront unique bestiary. As players navigate the dark world of early twentieth century London, they must be conscious of their actions. Their decisions may forever seal the fate of the city and all of its inhabitants. Vampyr release date is scheduled for next year in 2017. The game will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
